Founder / CEO

Renate Igou founded the company IGOU Personalberatung in 1982, specializing in executive search for the pharmaceutical/diagnostic/medical device industry.  Today, she manages the company which operates as IGOU Executive Search in HealthCare GmbH, with a team of three international experienced Associates in Executive Search.

Prior to establishing her own company, she had been engaged for several years in two leading executive search firms, starting as Research Associate, promoted to Consultant and soon to Senior Partner, always focused on projects for the life science and healthcare industry.

Her industry experience includes a tenure as account manager for P&G in a leading worldwide advertising agency and, prior to that, as marketing manager within the European Headquarters of a US multinational.

She holds a diploma in languages.

The Consultancy operates independently, thus, complies with its highly ethical own standards, without being committed to off limit lists within the niche segment it is concentrating on.
